Working Groups 

This Working Group is exploriing the forming a 501)c)3 non-profit organization.

Legislative efforts for mandating reporting will be the focus of this Working Group. 

Abuse survivors know the importance of Statute of Limitations reform in the pursuit of justice. 

This Working group is focusing on the productioin and efficient issuing of press releases for the ASC. 

The Working Group on cults will zero in on abuse occuring in the many small and large cults and the types of abuse that mark them. 

This Working Group will explore the abuse in Charismatic Covenant Communities. 

Thus Working Group encompasses all educational institutions and the abuse by the array of people in positions of power.

Under the guidance of a bilingual contact point, this Working Group will  work to reach those abused in the Hispanic community. 

Following the founding principles of the ASC, this Working Group will build coalitions with other organizations whose missions are mutually beneficial to abuse survivors and the work of the ASC.

This Working Group will take on issues that affect the many facets of the LGBTQ+ community. 

The abuse of adults (those over the age of majority) is a problem all its own.  This Working Group will explore this area. 

This Educational Outreach Working Group will examine how to spread the information about abuse and surviving abuse.  The avenues of outreach are wide open and will become a focus of the ASC. 

The Abuse of NDAs is a Working Group that will uncover the abuses, particularly in the relicious institutions, of silencing agreements in regard to sex abuse survivors.  

An evolving area of need in the survivor community is the sexual exploitation of adults. abuse of power, as with all sexual abuse, is at the heart of this issue. 

Religious orders of men and women in the Catholic Church are riddled with their own problematic issues. This Working Group will exaine these issues. 

The Research Working Group will help any WG when needed with research.
